Stroke Scan Plus

Life-Saving Health Screenings to Identify Stroke Risk, Abdominal Aneurysm, and Major Abdominal Organ Disease

Stroke Scan Plus brings affordable, preventive screenings directly to workplaces, churches, school districts, and more.

We Screen for Preventable Diseases Because Lives Depend on It

Stroke and sudden death from an abdominal aortic aneurysm, and cancers of the internal organs are largely preventable with early detection. Yet, many people remain unaware of the risks until it’s too late.

That’s where we come in.

Stroke Scan Plus, operating alongside board-certified radiologists, has been delivering early detection services since 2001. Our mission is to provide life-saving screenings that catch health issues before they escalate—because no one should suffer from a catastrophic disease that can be detected early.

What We Screen For

Unlike most other screening providers, we look at major organs beyond the cardiovascular system. Even small irregularities can lead to serious health complications.

Our ultrasounds screen for the following:

Stroke Risk

Carotid arteries, plaque accumulation, and potential for blockages that can lead to stroke.

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)

Abdominal aorta, abnormal enlargement, and other risks for rupture.

Thyroid Abnormalities

Presence of nodules, cysts, or other irregularities that could indicate underlying conditions.

Liver Conditions

Signs of fatty liver disease, cysts, and other abnormalities that can affect liver function.

Kidney Health (Both Kidneys)

Cysts, stones, and signs of dysfunction that could compromise kidney performance.

Gallbladder Issues

Gallstones, inflammation, and more that can lead to permanent health complications.

Our Process

We make getting a life-saving screening as easy and hassle-free as possible.

Schedule a Screening Session

The screening process takes approximately 20-30 minutes and uses state-of-the-art equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

The frequency depends on your family history of cardiovascular disease or cancer. Our screenings are affordable and informative enough to be done annually.

While vascular disease progresses slowly in the mild or non-advanced stages, cysts or tumors that may be cancerous can appear at any time, especially in areas like the thyroid, gall bladder, liver, or kidneys. If moderate vascular disease is found, you may consider getting scans every 6 months.

Even if no issues are found, we recommend sharing the results with your doctor to establish a baseline for future reference.

Several factors can increase your risk for stroke, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and diseases of the organs. These include:

  • High cholesterol
  • Age (especially 55+)
  • Family history of stroke, heart attack, aortic aneurysms, or cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Sedentary lifestyle
  • Smoking

  • Do not chew gum before your exams.
  • Fast for 8 hours if you’re having a cholesterol test.
  • Avoid large meals or caffeine for at least 4 hours before your screening.
