Stroke Scan Plus

How It Works

Onsite Mobile Screening & Biometric Services and Educational Seminars

Our team comes directly to your organization to provide convenient, preventive health screenings.

What to Expect

Initial Coordination

Contact us to discuss hosting a screening. We’ll walk you through the process, answer your questions, and provide flyers and digital materials to help promote the event internally.

Seminar

We can offer an in-person or virtual health seminar before the screening to help educate your group on the importance of early detection. During this time, a Stroke Scan Plus team member will be present to answer questions and assist with sign-ups.

Onsite Screenings

On the day of the event, our licensed ultrasound technicians will set up and perform the screenings using non-invasive, state-of-the-art equipment. Each screening takes about 20–30 minutes.

On-Site Services

Stroke Risk Screening

A non-invasive, painless ultrasound that uses sound waves to check for plaque buildup in the carotid arteries, helping identify potential stroke risks.

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening

We screen the abdominal aorta for abnormal enlargement and other risks for rupture.

Vital Organ Screenings

We screen key organs, including the thyroid, gallbladder, liver, and both kidneys to detect abnormalities that could indicate underlying health concerns.

Blood Testing Services (Biometrics)

Our quick, finger-stick blood tests assess key health risks without the need for an arm needle. Assesses for diabetes, prostate health, adrenal health, and more.

***We also offer on-site educational seminars where we can visit your office(s) to provide important information on stroke and vascular disease awareness and prevention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Typically, no. Insurance and Medicare usually won’t cover these preventive screenings unless an individual is already showing symptoms. Meaning, they won’t pay until the condition has progressed.

However, if we detect a problem, the patient’s PCP will have the evidence needed to secure insurance or Medicare coverage for follow-up tests and treatments.

Our skilled and qualified ultrasound techs are graduates from accredited ultrasound schools and have extensive experience in the field.

It is essentially the same test, except that we do not provide a diagnosis. If something is found, we can send our results to your PCP for further testing and diagnosis.
