First, We Work with Your Organization
Your organization will announce the upcoming Stroke Scan Plus event and share the screening dates and registration details with your members or employees.
A member of our team will visit your location ahead of the event to:
- Provide instructions
- Answer any questions
- Help participants sign up on-site

Our Process
Once you decide which screenings you’d like to undergo—something our team is happy to assist you with—you’re on your way to taking control of your health.
1. Schedule a Screening Session with Stroke Scan Plus
Book your appointment at a time that works for you. Screenings are conducted onsite using advanced ultrasound equipment by our experienced and certified technicians. The entire process typically takes just 20–30 minutes.
2. Receive and Review Results
Your results will usually be available within 3–4 weeks, depending on the volume of patients at your location. If we identify any potentially life-threatening conditions, your results will be expeditated
3. Follow-Up and Next Steps
If a concern is detected, your doctor can use the screening results to order additional diagnostic tests, which are often covered by insurance or Medicare. Even if no issues are detected, our reports offer a valuable health baseline for future comparisons
Screening Preparations
Before your appointment, you’ll receive detailed instructions to help you prepare. Here are some general guidelines to keep in mind:
- Wear a two-piece comfortable outfit, no dresses.
- No chewing gum before the exams.
- No big meals or caffeine 4 hours before screening.
- 8 hours fast if having the cholesterol test.
- If you are diabetic, make sure to eat a light snack.
- If you are taking medication, continue to take it.
